Yukimi Nagano is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She is the lead singer of electronic group Little Dragon.

She was born and raised in Gothenburg, to a Japanese father, Yusuke Nagano, and an American mother, Joanne, from Orange County, California, who has Swedish ancestry on her own father’s side. Her sister is musician Sandra Sumie Nagano. Yukimi has a son.

She stated :

Growing up, I felt like a ball that was being thrown around the world. My parents divorced when I was four, and my mom and I moved to Japan. Then we moved to the United States, then Sweden. My family is very spread out. My upbringing was being on airplanes and flying long distances. When I started touring, it was very familiar to me.

Yukimi’s maternal grandfather is named William Brown.

Yukimi’s maternal grandmother is named Eleanor.
