FORT WAYNE, IN (CelebrityAccess) – Journey guitarist Neal Schon has filed a lawsuit against Live Nation alleging that one of their security guards assaulted his wife Michaele at a concert.

According to the suit, Michaele was taking pictures in front of the stage during a Journey concert back in March of 2017 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, when she was assaulted, reports TMZ.

Michaele has reportedly suffered emotional distress and humiliation stemming from the assault, while Schon has suffered emotional distress ‘as an artist’ and is worried about his wife’s safety while he’s on stage.

The 65-year-old guitarist and his wife are suing for unspecified damages.

Schon was one of the founding members of Journey, joining the group in 1973. He is the only member to have been with the band throughout its entire history.
